Officers and Committees
A. The school board shall consist of five voting members, one of whom shall be elected president by the members of the school board at the organizational meeting held at the regular annual meeting in July. The members of the board shall be elected as follows: One but not more than one member from the city of Burlington; one but not more than one member from the city of Des Lacs; three members at large from the rural areas in the remaining portions of the district.
B. The school board shall have no standing committee. The school board shall authorize such special committees as are deemed necessary. A special committee shall report recommendations to the board for appropriate action. A special committee shall be dissolved when its report is accepted by the Board.

A. The administrative office of the board shall be maintained at the high school.
